This Company was formed in 1965 by Vic Crompton and we now have a wealth of experience with certificates for HETAS, ROSPA, BAXI, NACS, FUMES & APPLIANCE TESTING and we have sweeps who have undertaken the CORGI REGISTRATION enabling us to remove and replace gas fires before and after sweeping which helps builders and other customers so they are not set to times.

We have been on the Approval List for Wigan Metro B.C. for over 30 years and also have a good working relationship with other Councils (i.e., Lancashire County Council) and have recently been assessed as "CHAS COMPLIANT" within the Health and Safety side of the business. We also work for builders, hotels and commercial -the list goes on!

Being a founder member of The National Association of Chimney Sweeps and recommended by both the NACS and also the National Coal Board, we offer an extremely high quality service to both private and commercial clients, which we believe is second to none. Chimneys should only be swept by professional sweeps, there are many specific requirements needed for different types of appliances i.e. making sure that enough ventilation is coming into the room, before gas fires or solid fuel fires are fitted.

Chimneys must be swept regularly to ensure the following problems do not occur, i.e. spiders webs, birds nests, deterioration of midfeathers ensuring the gases escape correctly.
